The Giving Fest 2021
2020 has been a year like no other for the City of Festivals, so VISIT Milwaukee is launching the first-ever virtual Giving Fest.
Giving Fest is a series of over 50 virtual events that celebrate and, most importantly, support Milwaukee’s hospitality community, which has been devastated by the economic effects of the pandemic. Imagine your life without the restaurants you love, the service providers you frequent, the venues where you’ve celebrated life’s milestones. That could become a reality if we don’t do what we can to support them now.
How Can Businesses Participate
Organizing a virtual event of any kind - a trivia contest, a cooking demo, a Q&A with an interesting employee, etc - and then enter that event into Milwaukee365.com at 8 a.m. on January 15. Events must be ticketed or have a donation element - the whole point is to help you raise funds for your business!
The first 50 businesses to enter their events into Milwaukee365.com on Jan. 15 will receive $1,000. Additionally, all businesses who enter their events into Milwaukee365.com as a part of Giving Fest will be entered to win a $5,000 grand prize. (Official rules and regulations coming soon!) How Can Attendees Participate
Once Giving Fest launches, attend as many events as you can! Just like discovering a new band at Summerfest or the State Fair, this is a great way to get to know businesses you may never have known are right here in our own community!
